Port Delivery

Gimas has services at all ports of Turkey and the ARA Area. These services include the delivery and distribution of all provisions and technical stores required by vessels.
 
In general, the ports are classified into three groups:

• Governmental ports
• Municipal ports
• Private ports

The general-purpose governmental ports are operated by the State Economic Enterprises. A port manager is assigned by the State Enterprise to manage each port. These ports are "full-service" ports. All the main services to ship and cargo are given by the port own labor and equipment.
 
The  municipal ports  are managed by the municipalities. These ports are comparatively small and are generally limited to a small volume of coastal traffic serving the local needs of provincial towns.
 
The private ports cater to the particular needs of the industrial plants and other third parties.
